This is the cool author of the Totally Twins series. Her name is Aleesah Darlison. She writes loads of books for children, including picture books and novels.
Aleesah grew up in the country where she had loads of pets (including a snake and an eel). She also had loads of freedom and spent a lot of time riding her bike or her horse, exploring in the bush and in storm water drains (which she is sure her mother didn't know about) and building cubbyhouses.
The other thing she liked to do when she was young was read books. She loved colouring-in and won loads of prizes, including a whole box of chocolates. Yum! Quite shockingly, she also loved school! Aleesah was always writing stacks of stories and illustrated them with gorgeous stick figures.
